The Growlithe's ears twitched, and its breath came back. It got to her feet, looking thoroughly miserable. She snarled helplessly as she fell and got back up several times, before she snapped out of it and shook herself down, causiosly rubbing her head against Sami's leg, purring gratefully.

Sami knelt on her knees next to the growlithe, cautiously reaching out to stroke her head. "I'm glad you're feeling better." She said softly with a smile.
Sarge sat beside Sami, wagging his tail in a friendly greeting. "Hi, I'm Sarge." He said softly, tilting his head to the side. "I'm sorry to hear about your parents." He added, concern clearly seen in his eyes.
Dante stayed by Jenni, watching the other fire type silently. He had never seen a growlithe like her, then again, he had never seen a growlithe at all.
Jenni smiled as she watched her cousin interact with the growlithe, wondering what kind of tragedy the poor pokemon had encountered in her young life.

The Growlithe nodded shyly. She carefully krept fowards, towards Sami. She looked up, resting her paws on a Pokeball. She must want Sami to catch her in it.

Sami smiled warmly, tossing the pokeball at the growlithe, already knowing there wouldn't be any resistance.
Sarge barked happily, another friend to travel with! Dante sat and watched silently, his tail wagging on the ground behind him.
Jenni watched with a twinge of jealousy as Sami captured the growlithe, but remembered the egg nestled inside her backpack and the jealousy melted away instantly.
(Is it okay if they have an egg?)

((No, you can't just give yourself a Pokemon or egg.)) You may now continue to the next route.
